Jurnal Komunikasi dan Media Penyiaran Islam (JKMPI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances theory, research, and professional practice in Islamic communication, digital media, Islamic broadcasting, journalism, da'wah, media literacy, public communication, political communication, organizational communication, public relations, communication psychology, intercultural communication, and contemporary issues in communication and media studies. The journal serves as an academic platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original research articles, conceptual papers, and review articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and professional practice in communication and Islamic media studies at national and international levels.
JKMPI is published by the Asosiasi Praktisi Konseling dan Terapis Mental Islami Indonesia (APSERAMI). The journal applies a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the originality, scientific quality, and academic integrity of every published manuscript. As an open-access journal, JKMPI provides unrestricted access to all published articles to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge and encourage collaboration among researchers, academics, practitioners, and institutions.
The journal is published biannually, with two issues each year (June and December). JKMPI was first published in June 2026.
The journal is open for both domestically and abroad.
We strongly prefer to receive manuscripts via our online submission system. With using our system, authors can upload manuscript files (text, figures, and supplementary information) directly to our office and check on the status of Reviews their manuscripts during the review process.
