Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam (JKPPI) (Electronic ISSN: XXXX-XXXX) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances theory, research, and professional practice in Islamic education, Islamic thought, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal provides an academic platform for scholars, researchers, educators, practitioners, and students to disseminate original research articles, conceptual papers, and review articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and educational practices grounded in Islamic values and contemporary perspectives.

JKPPI is published by the Asosiasi Praktisi Konseling dan Terapis Mental Islami Indonesia (APSERAMI). The journal promotes scholarly discussion and interdisciplinary research on Islamic education, pedagogy, curriculum development, educational innovation, educational policy, comparative education, and the integration of Islamic values with contemporary educational theories and practices. It welcomes studies that address the intellectual, moral, social, and spiritual dimensions of education while responding to emerging educational challenges in local, national, and global contexts.

The journal publishes manuscripts covering Islamic education, curriculum and instructional development, teaching and learning innovation, educational technology, educational management, Islamic thought, philosophy of Islamic education, theology, ethics, character education, comparative Islamic education, multicultural education, educational leadership, contemporary issues in Islamic education, and the integration of classical and modern Islamic scholarship. Interdisciplinary studies that contribute to the advancement of education, society, and sustainable development are also encouraged.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, and ethical integrity. As an open-access journal, JKPPI provides unrestricted access to all published articles, supporting the global dissemination of knowledge and fostering collaboration among researchers, educators, practitioners, academic institutions, and policymakers.
The journal is published biannually, with two issues each year (June and December), and was first published in June 2026.
