Focus and Scope

Jurnal Perbankan, Bisnis, dan Ekonomi Islam (JPBEI) publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and review articles that contribute to the advancement of theory, research, and professional practice in Islamic banking, Islamic business, Islamic economics, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal welcomes scholarly works that promote innovation, sustainability, and the application of Sharia principles in contemporary economic and financial systems.

The focus and scope of the journal are to:

• Publish high-quality scholarly works in Islamic Banking, Islamic Business, and Islamic Economics.
• Advance theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary research in Islamic finance, business, and economic development.
• Promote innovation in Islamic banking, financial institutions, Islamic capital markets, and Islamic financial technology (FinTech).
• Disseminate research on entrepreneurship, business management, halal industry development, and sustainable business practices from Islamic perspectives.
• Encourage studies on Islamic accounting, Islamic social finance, zakat, waqf, and Islamic microfinance.
• Foster research in Islamic economic policy, economic development, governance, and ethical finance.
