About the Journal

Jurnal Perbankan, Bisnis, dan Ekonomi Islam (JPBEI) (Electronic ISSN: XXXX-XXXX) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances theory, research, and professional practice in Islamic banking, Islamic business, Islamic economics, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal provides an academic platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry professionals to disseminate original research articles, conceptual papers, and review articles that contribute to the advancement of Islamic financial systems, ethical business practices, and sustainable economic development based on Sharia principles.

JPBEI is published by the Asosiasi Praktisi Konseling dan Terapis Mental Islami Indonesia (APSERAMI). The journal promotes interdisciplinary scholarship by integrating Islamic economic principles with contemporary developments in banking, finance, business, entrepreneurship, and public policy. It welcomes innovative studies that address current challenges and opportunities in Islamic banking, business management, financial technology, halal industries, and the global Islamic economy.

The journal publishes manuscripts covering Islamic banking and finance, Islamic business and entrepreneurship, Islamic economic theory and policy, Islamic capital markets, halal industry development, Islamic accounting, Islamic financial technology (FinTech), sustainable and ethical finance, zakat, waqf, Islamic social finance, digital transformation, and contemporary issues related to Islamic business and economics. Interdisciplinary studies that contribute to the advancement of Islamic economic systems and sustainable development are also encouraged.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, and ethical integrity. As an open-access journal, JPBEI provides unrestricted access to all published articles, supporting the global dissemination of knowledge and fostering collaboration among researchers, practitioners, academic institutions, industry professionals, and policymakers.

The journal is published biannually, with two issues each year (June and December), and was first published in June 2026.
