The Journal of Islamic Mental Health Counseling focuses on publishing high-quality research and review articles that address mental health issues within the context of Islamic principles and values. This journal aims to integrate Islamic teachings with modern counseling practices to provide culturally sensitive and effective mental health care for Muslim individuals and communities. The scope of the journal encompasses a variety of topics, including Islamic counseling techniques, mental health issues in Muslim communities, and the importance of cultural competence in counseling Muslim clients. It also explores Islamic psychotherapy, detailing the development and efficacy of therapy models that incorporate Islamic concepts such as spirituality, prayer, and religious coping mechanisms. The journal features case studies that showcase successful counseling interventions with Muslim clients, emphasizing the application of Islamic principles in real-world scenarios. Additionally, it evaluates community-based mental health programs designed for Muslim populations, including initiatives by mosques, Islamic centers, and other community organizations.
